This piece is based upon “Solfeggietto”, a piece by C.P.E. Bach, son of the more famous J.S. Bach. I performed the piece for a Trinity~Guildhall piano exam, with one alteration – I speeded it up from 128 beats-per-minute to 160 beats-per-minute, which is much, much faster, and it was a blast! I did quite well for the exam, and I wanted to never forget the piece, so I revamped it, added some high energy drum rolls, added a slow intro, and boom! Surprise!
